The Little Red Hen is the 14th episode of Season 1.
Plot[]
"Not I!" "Not I!" "Not I!" ... is what all of Red's friends say when she needs their help gathering apples! This is a super big problem. The Super Readers take off into the story of the Little Red Hen, whose friends won't assist her either! The Super Readers are willing to lend a hand to the Little Red Hen, but will anyone help Red?
Trivia[]
- The Little Red Hen is voiced by Rebecca Brenner, and the Lazy Dog is voiced by Billy Rosemberg, the original voice of Max on Max and Ruby.
- In the story changing segment, the Little Red Hen's friends pretend to be cows, which is the wrong answer. Also, the right answer is that they listen to the Little Red Hen, just like Pig who listens to what his dad says in The Magic Porridge Pot about his toy robot in the real world and the girl in the story who does the same to her father about the porridge pot.
- Before the story changing segment, the Little Red Hen says, "Never!" about not willing to finish the cornbread for her chicks instead of asking a what or how question, just like the prince in The Three Feathers who says "Never!" three times in a grumpy voice about not willing to win the contest, the Mouse King in The Nutcracker who says it in the same grumpy voice as the Three Feathers' prince after the nutcracker tells him to let them pass, and the man in The Goose and the Golden Eggs who says it in a sad voice about not willing to get any more golden eggs.
- In this episode, no what or how question is asked before the story changing segment.
- Before the story changing segment, the hen says, "I'll never finish the cornbread for my chicks. Never!" instead of asking a what or how question. The first time this happened was in The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
- The barn is wine colored.
